Type locality: Nseloki River, Mwinilunga, Zambia

Diagnosis

Male is similar to Z. regisalberti by (a) black labrum; (b) dorsum of thorax with pale cross-band anterior to antealar sinus; (c) largely dark sides of thorax; (d) 2-3 rows between anal loop and tornus; (e) hind femora (partly) brown rather than black; (f) anterior denticles on femora directed towards base. However, differs by (1) ranging from Katanga to N Zambia; (2) relatively smaller size, Hw 40-44 mm; (3) 12½-15½ Ax in Fw; (4) black rather than brown tibiae; (5) largely pale dorsum of S3, forming broad basal ring, like on S4. Habitat description

Streams shaded by gallery forest. Often with a gravelly bottom and probably blackwater. From 800 to 1700 m above sea level.
