Diagnosis
The status of this species is presently uncertain. It may replace D. selysi in Equaotrial Guinea and Cameroon, having a more drawn-out posterior corner of the posterior hamule and often reduced, fragmented or absent antehumeral and metepisternal stripes.
Habitat description
Streams shaded by forest. Often with a gravelly and/or sandy bottom and probably coarse detritus. Inferred to occur from 0 to 700 m above sea level.
