Habitat description

Streams shaded by or in open areas in (gallery) forest. Often with emergent vegetation, coarse detritus, rocks and/or a soft (like muddy) bottom, probably especially calmer sections (like pools) with overhanging branches. From 700 to 2100 m above sea level.
